Every false idea they have, every illusion created by the ego, is continually challenged and abolished as they pursue something greater - something outside of themselves. I think that in a nutshell, this is like what my life expresses, a continual effort to know myself and to know that which is greater than me (and as a Christian, I call that God). Whether it be through the arts, sports, academics, business, philosophy, gardening, or heading out on some crazy adventure meeting interesting people, for me it is all toward knowing who I truly am and the God I serve. My entire life.. I spent sitting on benches.. or coffee shops.. studying peoples faces and how they react to situations. I find it fascinating. I often kind of ponder what kind of people they are, thier life story and just really go off into thought. I love seeing different types of people. I don't know what I express to others. I know for a fact I spend most of my time reading other peoples expressions. I knownow that I have figured out myself (somewhat) now that I am a little older I guess I just try to express myself mainly through my art. I am generally your typical coffee house .. wearing black shirts and ripped jeans slightly emo looking to a point person.. but in my art you might not see that. My life should express what people don't see on my face, on my clothes or the things around me.. it should express what I been through, my heart and whats in my head.. The things now shown. I hope that besides my stereotypical appearance my life shows something deeper than that girl you see sitting with her camera in the corner of starbucks..
