Written by a Chicago man with a heart and mind focused on preserving street culture, facilitating the unseen skills of so many ghetto intellects/artists, and taking action if you find yourself among the cool "privileged" folk. I've been feeling the call to take my natural talent for inspiring people to the next level and actually direct it. It is enough to create a community of inspired people, but what if we all worked together. Well, Upski, the author of "No More Prisons" and "Bomb the Suburbs" suggested the need for non-profit fundraising. ALL of the cool non-profits you know of are funded by cool corporations and organizations that have money set aside for doing just such giving. Unfortunately, while they have a department to procure funds for themselves, they often don't have the same infrastructure to disperse their funds. In other words, your non-profit can make a HUGE difference with wildlife, poverty, health advocacy, legalization, and environmentalism if you learn how to reach these cool corporation's funds. Fundraising and non-profits. If you find any information based on starting a non-profit to organize other non-profits funds intake, that's what I'm interested in. Every day I do what I can to make a difference on the personal front - in one animal's life or one person's life. But an organization can reach so many more. Thanks for doing this work, Alex!
